The Fascino 125cc scooter also experienced mixed performance. While YoY sales fell 33.81% to 6,125 units (from 9,253 units), MoM growth reached 16.64%, rising from 5,251 units in May 2025.

Aerox 155 Bucks the Trend with Positive YoY Growth

The Aerox 155 was the only Yamaha model to post a YoY growth, with sales rising 9.42% to 1,743 units, compared to 1,593 units in June 2024. Meanwhile, the premium R3/MT03 models added 5 units to the total, although this was a 16.67% YoY drop.

Final Thoughts

Despite introducing strong models like the Aerox 155 and maintaining popularity with RayZR and FZ, Yamaha’s overall domestic sales have struggled in 2025. Most key models have witnessed declines across YoY, MoM, and YTD metrics, suggesting a shift in consumer preferences or growing competition in the two-wheeler segment. Yamaha will need to re-evaluate its domestic strategy to regain momentum in the Indian market.
