UP Police SI Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will conduct the UP Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2025 selection process in multiple stages to ensure only the most capable candidates are chosen. The stages include:
- Online Written Examination
- Objective-type test covering subjects like General Hindi, Law/Constitution, Numerical Ability, and General Knowledge.
- Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks in each subject.
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Measurement of height, chest (for male candidates), and weight to check if candidates meet the prescribed physical criteria.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Running test to evaluate stamina and endurance.
- Male: 4.8 km in 28 minutes
- Female: 2.4 km in 16 minutes
- Document Verification
- Original educational and identity documents will be verified by officials.
- Medical Examination
- Final stage to ensure the candidate is medically fit for police duties.
Note: Candidates must clear each stage to proceed to the next. Final selection will be based on performance in all stages and merit list preparation.

- One-Time Registration (OTR): Candidates must register with a unique email ID and mobile number. These cannot be changed later.
- Identity Verification: Registration can be done using Aadhaar, DigiLocker, Driving License, PAN Card, or Passport.
- Valid Details: Information such as Name, Gender, and Date of Birth must match exactly with your Matriculation/High School certificate.
- Manual Entry Option: If your details are not available in DigiLocker, you can enter them manually.
- Document Reference: Only details from the Matriculation/High School certificate will be accepted for OTR purposes.
